Tanzania Kenya Great Migration Footprints

Start off the safari with an 8am departure for a picturesque drive descending the Great Rift Valley and onwards to Masai Mara, Kenya's famous game reserve. (Drive time 5.5 hours). Pass the Great Rift Valley viewpoint as you enjoy the stunning views of the largest Valley in the world, said to be visible from outer space. Arrive at your camp in Masai Mara for a leisurely lunch. Your afternoon game drive starts at 3.30pm, allowing spotting of the amazing wildlife in the reserve ranging from the Big Cats such as Lion, Leopard & Cheetah to Rhino, Elephant and Wildebeest. Return to camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.

You will be taken on two game drives today, one in the morning from 6.15am to 9am, before breakfast and the other in the late afternoon after lunch from 3.30pm to 6.30pm. Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best time to spot animals at their most active. As your safari is private, your game drive timings are flexible, convenient if travelling with children or if on a honeymoon when you perhaps want to lie in longer on some of the days. You may also choose to have a full day game drive [one for the whole day] with a packed picnic lunch at no extra cost. Return in the evening for dinner and overnight at the camp.

After early breakfast and check-out, proceed for morning game drive en-route to Serengeti National Park. Our tour guide will then drive you to the Isebania border for an onward transfer to your overnight camp in Serengeti National Park. It will be a long day of driving but the game drives in and out of the parks can be surprisingly incredible.

Today you have an early rise for your estimated 6.15am Safari game drive during which you will see more of the Serengeti’s great wildlife. Return to the Camp for a relaxed breakfast - rest of the morning at leisure. The lodge has a swimming pool. After the sumptuous lunch, take a mid-afternoon safari game drive to further explore the park. Return to the lodge by evening [typically 6pm] in time for a relaxed evening which may be enlivened by entertainment provided by the lodge, followed by dinner.

At the break of dawn you embark on your concluding game drive in Serengeti followed by a leisurely breakfast. Check out by 10am for a return road transfer for Arusha. Arrive Arusha by early afternoon [typically by 3pm]. Drop off at your hotel, or free onward transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
