Day 4 Full Day Safari at Masai Mara

We begin our morning with an early game drive shortly after tea and coffee with our timing prior to sunrise.

This is day 4 of your African safari tour and we will spend our time exploring the Masai Mara. You may ask yourself; why is the Masai Mara so special? The Masai Mara Game Reserve remains the best safari tour destination in Africa, and with lots of reasons – the beauty of the landscape with its golds and greens, the great density and variety of wildlife said to be the highest in the region, but also because it’s home to the Great Migration.

During the months of July through October, witness vast herds of gazelle, wildebeest and zebra invade the park over the Mara River searching for sustenance. The numbers of wildlife pouring in over a migrating season can be astonishing – up to 2 million!

Along with game drives and animal sightings, we offer other optional activities to make your Kenya safari tour experience here even richer. Meet the local Masai people at their village and learn about their culture and their crafts. Perhaps purchase some of their brightly beaded souvenirs.

In the late evening hours, head back to your Masai Mara tented safari camp/ safari lodge for a delicious dinner awaits and overnight stay.

We’ll depart Masai Mara with a hot lunch stop along the way, arriving in Nairobi during late afternoon hours (approximately 15:00Hrs, typically 3:00 Pm) and bring you to your Nairobi hotel, or the Nairobi airport.

Drop off at your Nairobi City hotel /Nairobi airport (Jomo Kenyatta International Airport) for your flight home signals the end of this successful African safari trip.
