Day 1 Arrival in Amboseli National Park
Depart from Nairobi at 7:00 AM to Amboseli National Park (approximately 5-6 hours’ drive). Throughout your road trip, you’ll be in a good position to witness the scenic landscape that the area offers. Arrive at the camp in time for the tasty lunch while you relax. We will then set off for an afternoon safari till sunset as we witness the large herds of African elephants, African buffalos, and impalas among other species. Return to our camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 Full day safari in the Amboseli National Park
After an early morning breakfast we will depart our camp/lodge and head deep into the thick wilderness for a full day game drive with our packed lunch whereby we will find a nice spot for a picnic lunch. The focus of this day will be the predators, the large elephant herds and birdwatching till late sunset. Head back to our camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 Departure to Tsavo West National Park
We will checkout early in the morning en route to Tsavo West National Park a journey approximated to cover 4hours from Amboseli. Arrive in time for lunch and check in. Immediately after your tasty meal, we will start our afternoon game drives in the land of Lava, Springs, Man-eaters and Magical Sunsets hoping to see the hyenas, cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles, Gerenuk, Lesser Kudu, Waterbucks, wildebeests and others. Return to our station for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 Departure to Nairobi
Following our morning safari, we’ll enjoy a leisurely drive back to the camp/lodge where we will have enough time to enjoy lunch and freshen up before heading back to Nairobi (arriving late in the evening). Upon arrival in Nairobi a relatively short transfer will take us back to Jomo Kenyatta National Airport where the safari officially comes to an end around 18:00.
