Day 1 The Adventure Begins

The adventure you’ve been longing for begins with an early morning departure to Masai Mara National Reserve approximated as a 5hour drive. We navigate through the Great Rift Valley where you’ll get 20minutes stop over at the rift valley viewpoint for some photoshoot. The plan is usually to check in and get orientation followed by some lunch. We’ll then ready ourselves for the afternoon safari, returning to the camp/lodge a few minutes after sunset where a lovely dinner awaits.

Day 2 Full Day Exploring the Masai Mara

Today will be a full day on safari, a journey that will see us navigate deep in the Mara Reserve. The focus/ main goal being to encounter the predators, the great migration and the river crossings. This is the quintessential African experience and with sparse open plains, dramatic skies and some of the world's most impressive animals, these days will unfold to you in the best way imaginable. All nights will be spent at your camp/lodge in the heart of Masai Mara and you’ll get to enjoy all the hotel amenities that come with the package.

Day 3 Masai Mara – Serengeti

Prepare for a long travel today after early morning game drive as we depart from Masai Mara heading towards Isebania OSBP boarder of Kenya and Tanzania for Serengeti. The next days will be spent in the wilderness, so make the most today by stocking up at the local market, grabbing cash from the town's ATM. We’ll be arriving at late hours, if time permit we’ll proceed for evening game drive.

Day 4 Serengeti Full Day Exploring

After breakfast with our picnic lunch we proceed for the full day game viewing in Serengeti. This park gets its name from the local Maasai word ‘siringet’, meaning the place where the land moves on forever, and you’ll begin to understand why on your game drive today.

Every year more than a million wildebeest, 200,000 Zebras and 300,000 Thomson's gazelle gather to undertake their long trek to new grazing lands with an encounter from all kinds of predators such as lion, crocodiles, leopard, cheetah, and hyenas they must make it to the other end so as to survive. During their trek more than 8,000 calves are produced a day, and thousands are killed by predators. We head back to camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 Serengeti - Ngorongoro

After an early breakfast enjoy a final game drive through the Serengeti as you exit the park this morning and cross over to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area; soak up final views of the animals and landscapes that make the national park such an incredible spot, before entering the Ngorongoro Conservation area, with an optional stop at Olduvai Gorge.

Take in the spectacular views from the rim of the crater as you make your way to the bottom, where animals roam the lakes, rivers, woodlands and hills. Keep an eye out for wildebeest, lion, zebra, cheetah, buffalo, gazelle and the endangered black rhino, as well as the colorfully dressed Maasai people who often water their cattle at the lake here.

Dinner and overnight at respective camp/lodge.

Day 6 Ngorongoro - Arusha

Following an early morning breakfast, we depart for the Ngorongoro crater with your picnic lunch for a full day of tracking game in the crater floor. You will break for your picnic lunch at the Ngoitoktok springs picnic site. All the big five may be seen.

The crater floor offers excellent wildlife viewing all year round, and the photo opportunities here are unrivalled.

This huge caldera/collapsed volcano with about 250 square kilometers and 600metres deep. Its spectacular setting and abundance of wildlife makes it one of the natural great wonders of the world is referred to as the eighth wonder of the world or the Eden of Africa.

In the afternoon hours we head to Arusha.

Day 7 Stone Town

This morning bid farewell to your crew, transfer to Arusha Airport and take an included flight to Stone Town, Zanzibar. Your tour will be unescorted from here on in, however our representatives will be on hand to look after you. Zanzibar is an archipelagic gem filled with idyllic beaches, vibrant markets and a varied, and sometimes dark, history. This is a place rooted in slavery, where Arabian sultans once lived and Swahili and Islamic influences blend together to create an exotic island paradise steeped in centuries of history. Why not throw yourself into the midst of Stone Town’s maze of narrow streets – every twist and turn alive with an enticing mix of fragrant bazaars, enchanting mosques and charming ruins. Perhaps head to one of the bars on the seafront and soak up the salty ocean air with a cocktail in hand.

Day 8 Zanzibar Northern Beaches (Nungwi)

Venture out of Stone Town this morning and drive to the spice plantations for your optional guided tour, or head directly to the perfectly pristine northern beaches. If you choose to explore the spice plantations, you’ll learn all about the history of this town's renowned spice trade. Take the opportunity to touch, smell and taste various spices – such as cinnamon, vanilla and ginger – then sample some delicious teas! After lunch, head to the northern beaches, where white sands and sparkling blue seas await for an afternoon at leisure. This is the Indian Ocean at its best.

Day 9 Zanzibar Northern Beaches (Nungwi)

Wake up in paradise and perhaps take the opportunity walk along this pristine coast before a beach side breakfast. Today is an included dhow cruise and snorkelling trip in the transparent waters among the incredible tropical fish.

The late afternoon is free to dine on freshly caught sumptuous seafood or simply relax in a hammock underneath a coconut tree with a good book.

Day 10 Zanzibar Northern Beaches (Nungwi)

Your trip comes to an end today. Please advise us at the time of booking if we can help with transfers to Stone Town Airport or Ferry terminal.
