Amboseli Flight Safari

0730 am; Pick up from your Nairobi City hotel for a transfer to Wilson Airport.

Depart on your scheduled flight to Amboseli National Park.

You’ll be met on arrival at the airstrip by your Amboseli safari lodge /tented camps hosts. Proceed for a game viewing drive as you head to your Amboseli lodge/ camp.

After lunch, enjoy an afternoon on this African safari tour will be spent on game drive with a good chance to spot lions, giraffes, elephants and many other animals with Mt Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa providing that scenic backdrop.

Return for dinner and overnight at camp/lodge.

Today our safari vacation will be a full day of game viewing drives, and plenty of time to soak up the Kenya wildlife and the magnificent scenery. And we’ve allowed time for relaxation as well.

There will be an early morning game drive. Then breakfast will be followed by a mid-morning drive. After a comfortable lunch we’ll set out on a later afternoon game drive.

Between the wildlife viewing sessions, relax at your Amboseli lodge or camp. They will provide meals and other activities. As always, your safari vehicle and driver/ guide are at your disposal for even more game viewing drives.

If you like wildlife photography, this is the best park for a Kenya photographic safari, well known as a photographer’s paradise given its terrain and setting. It comes as number two after the iconic Masai Mara game reserve.

Return to the camp /lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

It’s our final day in this premium Kenyan park and we want to squeeze in all the game viewing we can. We’ll start on a pre-breakfast safari and see who we can check off our list. Don’t forget to look for the smaller animals here like hyenas, foxes, jackals and monkeys.

There’s also a colorful variety of rich birdlife in the park – pelican, kingfisher, egret and heron are found near the park’s marshes and lakes.

We’ll enjoy one more breakfast, with views of great Mount Kilimanjaro and then a final game drive as we exit the reserve.

It’s time for our drive back to Nairobi. It’s also a time to dwell upon all the wildlife we’ve seen and experienced over our 3-day Kenya safari.

We’ll be back in town late afternoon and drop you off at your hotel, or the JKIA airport; signaling the end of your safari package to Africa.
